Workshop Description
This introductory glass art workshop is a two-day immersive experience exploring a variety of glass art mediums. Students will learn the fundamentals of flameworking using a bench burner, dive into various glass fusing methods, and learn the traditional Tiffany-style approach to stained glass. The retreat culminates in the creation of a unique 9”x15” glass artwork — a Maine-inspired design crafted exclusively for Down East Adventures. Each participant will leave not only with new skills and creative confidence, but with a one-of-a-kind piece that captures the spirit and beauty of Maine.
