Lyn Snow was a local artist from South Thomaston, Maine. Known for “the clean lyrical approach she brought to her watercolors,” Lyn often painted flowers and natural scenes, and she received national attention for her works. After retiring, Lyn passed away in 2013 after being bitten by a tick carrying the Powassan Virus. These prints have been made available by her daughter, Susie.

These prints are not matted.

Maine flowers

So pleased to be able to order some additional Lyn Snow prints while they are available thanks to her daughter. I still have a Moosehead Lake tee from many years ago featuring her blueberry illustration. Her art is a treasure. Thanks also to Downeast for their careful packaging and prompt delivery which I I received in RI the DAY after I placed the order.

Mother's Day

It is beautiful with Spring flowers. It has violets of three colors some of which are in buds, some are starting to bloom with the rest in bloom. There are other spring flowers in the bouquet. The violets are my favorite flower.
