A South Bristol native and self-taught artist, Sarah Norwood, grew up in a family of seven kids. Inspired by nature, Sarah started making wreaths as a way to get school shopping money at the age of ten. She would row her dory to the islands and gather sea lavender, making wreaths with mussel shells glued on. Then she would sit at her road side stand and sell them every weekend. Each wreath is unique with each pinecone or object hand plucked by Sarah and her two kids from the great outdoors.

I hand gather most of my supplies myself. The gathering process is one of my most important steps. I use this step to gain energy and inspiration for when I head back to my studio.Sarah Norwood
