The enameled copper shape of Maine is pine green with a royal blue heart, and they hang from sterling silver ear wires.
Beauty under fire: To create these earrings, copper is hand-cut, filed, and sanded smooth. Once the copper is prepped, powdered glass is sifted onto the copper and heated from below with a torch flame. This side will be the backside of your earring. Then, the copper is cleaned before layers of green powdered glass are sifted onto the front side of the pendant and melted from the opposite side with the torch between layers. After, blue glass is dusted on with a stencil before the earring is fired one final time.
Maine shape sizes are approximately 1″ x 5/8″ for a total drop length of 1.5.”
