Celebrate The Pine Tree State with these enameled copper earrings inspired by the Maine 1901 flag.
The copper is all cut by hand, and the sterling silver ear wires are shaped by hand.
Size is approximately 1″ x 1.”
Beauty under fire: To create these earrings, copper is hand-cut, filed, and sanded smooth. Once the copper is prepped, powdered glass is sifted onto the copper and heated from below with a torch flame. This side will be the backside of your earring. Then, the copper is cleaned before layers of light yellow powdered glass are sifted onto the front side of the earring and melted from the opposite side with the torch between layers. After, blue and green glass is dusted on with a stencil before the earrings are fired one final time.
Earrings may vary slightly from photo.
