Glass Insulator Sconce Light – Brass Hardware

Bring a piece of history into your home with this vintage glass insulator sconce light featuring brass colored hardware.

The maker sourced these insulators in Maine before acid-washing them to ensure beautiful, shiny glass. Because of their age, there are slight imperfections in the glass, but they add to the history and character.

Glass insulators were used from the 1870s to the 1950s for communication towers for telegraphs and telephones.

Each light includes a warm, white LED dimmable 6 watt bulb (which is equivalent to a 60 watt incandescent).

The insulator is approximately 4″ tall and 3.5″ wide.

Each scone light comes with all mounting hardware. Cable glands will match canopy finish.

The cable must be wired in.
